Evening of Impact 2026
An evening supporting connection, community, and youth mental health.

Why This Night Mattered
On April 24, 2026, more than 250 supporters gathered at The Lodge at Ironwoods for Fight Club's fourth annual Evening of Impact. The night had a laid-back, boots-and-denim feel — but the purpose behind it was anything but casual.
This evening was about one thing: making sure no teen fights alone.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone in the room, Evening of Impact 2026 raised over $225,000 to expand Fight Club's mission across middle school, high school, and college — reaching more boys and girls than ever before. Over the past year, Fight Club more than doubled the number of groups and teens reached, impacting over 1,000 young people. The goal for the year ahead is to do it again.
What Happend That Night
Eighteen teens took the stage representing Fight Club groups at every level, each sharing their experiences with honesty and courage. Therapist Lia Boone from KidsTLC spoke about the unique power of peer-driven connection. Tiffany Whitney, Fight Club's VP of Mission Development, shared how Fight Club helped her son Ryan's friends and younger brother carry their grief together.
The night also honored Dustin Hickle as Fight Club's first ever Volunteer of the Year. Dustin leads the Olathe South boys group that formed after losing Ryan Whitney — a group that has grown from 20 to 49 members. The evening closed with a performance by Jocelyn Salter, a reminder that no one has to face life alone.
